Description
Mucopain (Benzocaine) penetrates the oral mucosa effectively and offers a local anesthetic activity that lasts for 10-20 minutes. The poor water solubility of Mucopain makes it safe for topical use. Local anesthetics reversibly block nerve transmission, when applied to a limited area of the body. They bind to the sodium channels in the nerve membrane and prevent the entry of sodium ions in response to the membrane depolarization.
How to use:
- Mucopain Gel should be applied over the affected area with a clean fingertip, three to four times a day or as directed by your doctor. Once you apply the medication, wait for at least 30 minutes before eating and drinking anything.
